The Challenge
The family jumped at an opportunity to purchase an oceanfront property as construction neared completion, allowing them to make a few key selections to personalize their new home.
Delivering on wishes
For their master bath, the wife had requested a separate whirlpool bath and shower as well as a seated vanity space in addition to their double vanities. The husband required that we maintain the large shower and wished to view the ocean while bathing. Both husband and wife were willing to concede some of their requests given the limitation of their space, however, we were thrilled to be able to creatively re-organize and enlarge the space to beautifully answer all of their requests.
J2 success
J2 was in the process of designing a substantial addition to this family’s current beach property when we were asked to quickly change gears to help them take advantage of an opportunity to purchase an oceanfront property instead. We helped navigate final decisions like the wood floor stain and carpeting and installed plantation shutters throughout to allow them to take the leap from oceanside to oceanfront living.
Optimizing spaces
After adjusting to the beautiful views and prime location, they asked us back to make some upgrades to replace the builder grade kitchen and master bath. In the process, we converted a small storage space into a dry bar / wine pantry located next to their main living area. Currently, we are in the process of upgrading their master suite with built-in storage and a media hutch.
